These are the terms and conditions for The Calligraphy Box. By subscribing to or purchasing The Calligraphy Box, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

shipping schedule

The Calligraphy Boxes are shipped within the first full week of each month. You will be notified by email when your box has been posted.
UK delivery is free and will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class, 2-3 days (excluding Sunday).
International delivery is sent via Royal Mail Tracked and the delivery window is 3-5 days (Europe) and 5-10 days (worldwide). However, each country may add additional time for customs checks.

subscription cut off window

Cut-off date is the 15th of the month (or the 10th if you live outside the UK)
If you subscribe after the cut-off date in any given month, then your box will not be sent out to you the next day. Instead, your first box will be sent to you within the first week of the following month.
For example, if you subscribe on the 4th of January, then your box will be sent out to you the next day. You will be billed immediately for your first order on the 4th of January, and then on a monthly basis from the 1st of February.
If you subscribe on the 17th of January (after the cut-off) then your box will be sent out in the first full week in February. Your first payment will be taken immediately when you subscribe and then the following payments will be on the 1st of each month starting in March. 

Payments

Billing Date- 1st of each month
Your first payment will be taken the day that you subscribe. The following payments will be taken on the 1st of the each month. Your boxes will then be shipped within the first full week of each month. 


Auto-renewal

All our subscriptions auto-renew, except for our gift subscriptions. 

damaged/lost/missing goods

The delivery periods described above in the shipping section are estimates given by the Royal Mail. The arrival of your box may extend outside these estimates and this is outwith our control as it can be down to the time of year or customs for international customers. If your box has not arrived, arrived damaged or has items missing, please get in touch with us to remedy the situation. You can get in touch with us here

The contents of the boxes will be different each month but will always include what is listed on the home page in the 'What's in each box' section'

PAUSE / cancel / commitment  periods

You can pause your subscription for one or two months at anytime. You can do this by logging in to your account. Go to the 'Subscriptions' page and then click 'Manage'. At the bottom on the page click 'Subscription settings'. You can then choose how long you would like to pause your subscription for. 

If you would like to cancel your subscription then we are sad to see you go, but you are able to do this by logging in to your account. Go to the 'Subscriptions' page and then click 'Manage'. At the bottom on the page click 'Subscription settings'. You can then choose to cancel your subscription. 
Please note, if you have committed to a longer subscription and have boxes left to receive then you will be charged for these boxes and they will be shipped to you monthly. Upon completion of your original commitment your subscription can be cancelled.

returns

If you have changed your mind and would like to return your box then you can do this. You have 21 days from your box being delivered to make a return and be eligible for a refund. To receive a full refund, the subscription box and outer packaging must be unopened and in the same condition as it was shipped. Please follow these instructions - 
1. Let us know that you are going to be returning your box by sending us a message here.
2. Securely seal your subscription box with packaging and clearly write your name visibly on the box. 
3. Post the box to us and obtain a receipt as proof of postage. The cost of shipping must be covered by you. 
4. Once we have received the returned box, we will issue a refund to the original payment method which can take 3-5 working days.
